If I look back, my career hasn’t followed a straight line—it has followed curiosity, conviction, and a constant urge to do better.

I started my journey at Mobility India, where I got my first real understanding of what “impact” actually means on the ground. Around the same time, in 2002, I founded a community-based rehabilitation initiative for differently-abled children in Kolkata—a small beginning that has stayed close to my heart ever since.

That early exposure to grassroots work stayed with me as I moved into larger systems—working with organizations like Heifer Project International and Heinrich Böll Foundation, and eventually into national programs like DAY-NRLM and DDU-GKY. Those years were intense and deeply rewarding. I was working on large-scale programs, building financial systems, training teams, and trying to make complex structures work a little better every day. But somewhere along the way, I realized something important — experience alone isn’t enough. The world is changing too fast.

So after 18 years of working, I made a decision that wasn’t easy—I went back to being a student.

During my MBA at Warwick Business School, I pursued a specialization in Sustainability at Sauder School of Business. That experience was transformative. It gave me a global lens, pushed me to rethink how systems evolve, and reinforced a belief I now hold strongly: if you’re not continuously upgrading yourself, you risk becoming outdated—no matter how experienced you are.

That realization eventually led me to co-found Leaders Path.

At Leaders Path, we’re building something I wish existed earlier in my own journey—learning that is grounded, practical, and deeply relevant. Not just knowledge you collect, but perspective that changes how you think and work.

In 2023, I also founded Nascent Kraft Pvt. Ltd., where we’re working on sustainable food packaging—taking ideas around sustainability and trying to make them real, tangible, and scalable.

Through all of this, one thread has remained constant—staying connected to real impact, whether through large national systems or small community initiatives.

I don’t believe in perfect careers. I believe in evolving ones. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: it’s never too late to learn, to shift direction, or to build something meaningful.

Amit’s professional journey began with supplying goods to the Armed Forces of India, instilling a deep commitment to quality, reliability, and operational discipline from the very start. He later entered the corporate sector with MetLife and Reliance, where he developed strong expertise in life insurance, banking partnerships, and channel management.

Over the years, he has held key leadership roles, managing large distribution networks, leading high-performing teams, and driving consistent business growth in competitive markets. His strength lies in combining strategic thinking with strong on-ground execution, delivering measurable results.

Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, Amit transitioned into manufacturing and has served as Director in the safety footwear industry for nearly a decade. He established the brand Vsafe in India, focused on delivering high-quality industrial safety shoes built on durability, innovation, and trust serving industries where safety is non-negotiable.

Expanding further, he ventured into interior designing turnkey projects, offering end-to-end solutions that combine functionality, design, and execution excellence. His ability to build long-term client relationships and earn trust has been central to his success across ventures.

With a career spanning both corporate leadership and entrepreneurship, Amit brings a practical, execution-focused perspective to learning. His continuous drive to evolve led him to enter the fast-growing space of online education.
